Those who are interested are put into groups of 4-5 sisters. Each sister thinks of a project at her house that will take 1 ½ – 2 hours for the group to complete: clean out the pantry or a couple of closets, weed or plant the garden, straighten the basement, paint the shed, clean the house. Garden Group
Get together monthly to learn what to do with your garden. This can be anything from how to lay out your garden to ordering heirloom seeds to canning peaches to weed control secrets to starting seeds indoors to a plant swap.
Freezer Meal Group
A group of 10 sisters gathers monthly for three months. (Other numbers work, too.) They prepare two each of four meals to take home and freeze. They pay $40 ahead of time; each meal costs about $5. There is more that one “Reisen” to get together with your fellow RS sisters. (That’s what the invitation says, with the candy attached.) This is a “speed-dating” activity.
