Apple pie

We tought our activity day girls how to make an apple pie from scratch, crust and all. They did all the work and took a pie home ready to bake in thier own oven so the whole family was able to share in their labors. They were so proud of themselves and the pies turned out great from what their families said. It took a little over an hour to prepare and clean up. None of our girls had ever made a pie before. They were very excited to see how just a little extra effort has a great pay off.
