Mom Muffin Meeting

I had a mother of one of my young women, who was new to the ward, come to me and express a desire to get to know the other mothers of our young women. So our ward started what we call our Mom Muffin Meeting. In August of every year we hold a meeting on a Saturday morning to get all of our mothers together with out their daughters to chat, eat yummy muffins and get to know each other. The meeting is only an hour or so, but towards the end we take the opportunity to talk to our mothers about personal progress and how important their role is in getting it accomplished. It has turned into an activity that is looked forward to every year!
