Centered on the scripture: “My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold;” Proverbs 8:19
Each ward/level chooses a precious metal or gem (other than gold) as their theme, i.e. The Diamond Divas, The Ruby Reds, etc.
Workshop ideas: “A Diamond in the Rough”(discovering and sharing your personal talents), “Lay Up Your Treasures in Heaven” (Choice & Accountability), “Healthy, Wealthy & Wise” (Keeping our minds and bodies clean), and “Polish and Shine” (strengthening our testimonies).
Games: Rumpelstiltskin Mad Libs. Take the fairy tale of Rumpelstitskin and omit several words. Split girls into groups. Do not tell them what the story is called. Simply give them a list of words needed (noun, verb, adj., etc.) Once they have filled in all of the blanks, read each groups variation of Rumplestiltskin.
