Clothes Swap

We ask all the girls to go through their closets and bring clothes that they don’t wear any more to mutual. The girls get to go through eachothers clothes and take home what they like.

We also have a table set up for letter writing to missionaries from our ward. That way the girls have something to do after going through the clothes. We then donate all the items that were not claimed to Deseret Industries.

This year we also added information about the D.I. so the girls had a better understanding of the service they were providing.

The girls have loved this activty. It has become an anual tradition. We also get great feed back from the moms. Telling us their daughters had so much fun, or that “new” clothes came just when they needed them.
