Treasure Island Youth Conference Theme

“…lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,…For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Matthew 6:20-21

Workshop ideas:”Fool’s Gold” (overcoming temptations, all that glitters is not gold), “Don’t Walk the Plank” (enduring to the end, don’t give up, faith), “Treasure Map” (studying the scriptures, the “map” to our salvation), and “Purity vs. Pirates” (choosing good friends, making good choices).

Other Activity/Games Ideas: “Seek and Ye Shall Find” (scavenger hunt) Each group is given an envelope of clues, to be read in order. The clues will lead them to places of importance or meaning (temple, church, Conference Center, Brigham Young Grave site, Family History library, etc.) The first group to visit all locations wins.
